Melissa has spent more than 20 years in the legal world — starting as a legal typist, moving through the ranks as a legal secretary and registered legal executive, and finally becoming a solicitor in 2013. In other words, she’s seen it all, typed it all, drafted it all, and calmly fixed it all.

Before her admission, Melissa worked as a Trustee for four years, where she discovered her superpower: supporting families through life’s most vulnerable moments. Estates, elder law, trusts, asset and estate planning — these are her happy places (yes, really). She founded MAC Legal so she could focus on the areas of law that genuinely change lives, and do it in a way that’s anything but ordinary.

Melissa is also a trusted property manager for clients who can’t manage their own affairs. “Above and beyond” is basically her default setting — she doesn’t just handle finances; she’ll take clients to appointments, help with shopping, and show up when she’s needed. Compassion is her brand, and she wears it like armour.

Known for being approachable, dependable, and refreshingly human, Melissa built MAC Legal to be mobile, flexible, and accessible. No unnecessary overheads, no stuffy office culture — just genuinely good legal help. She works with a hand-picked network of like-minded professionals who support her on a contract basis when things get busy (which they often do)
